For more than 7 years, UHF Productions has presented and produced electronic music events that bring together hundreds of people to enjoy music, art, and celebrate life. We and our affiliates work hard to create an immersive environment and above all else to keep our guests safe. Our safety and security plans are coordinated and refined over many months with assistance from local authorities and from sound control, food safety, health services, and local governmental agencies. At the festival, the Event Staff and Security monitors these and other matters to ensure the safety of all guests, artists and staff. UHF Productions has a zero-tolerance policy for drugs. We also rely on our guests to celebrate with us in a responsible manner. There is no minimum age as this is a family Event, 18 and under need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. - NO EXCEPTIONS -
At Genesis, we want you to dance, enjoy the local art, play, and enjoy the music and the experience. But please take care of yourself and each other.
Guests at our events often enjoy vigorous physical activity including, but not limited to, dancing and people will sometimes get sick from overheating and dehydration. Drinking lots of water has always been encouraged and is a good idea...But, be aware that drinking too much plain water may not be enough!
Some of the medical problems occurring at events have been associated with low levels of electrolytes that are lost, along with water, when a person becomes dehydrated. Such low levels of electrolytes, especially salt, can lead to brain swelling, seizures, heart problems and even death.
Like athletes in sporting events, your body needs to replace the minerals AND the water it is losing in sweat. Sports drinks containing electrolytes (like Gatorade and Powerade) provide these essential electrolytes and should supplement the water you drink to rehydrate your body.
Drugs like MDMA (i.e. Molly, ecstasy) can make the low electrolyte level worse and increase your chances of harm. Genesis does not endorse or condone their use, but if you or someone around you has taken something that you are concerned about or need help, it is important that you tell our staff. We are here to help and never judge.
Genesis considers all of our music fans as guests and we work hard to provide an enjoyable and safe experience. Never hesitate to reach out to us with your questions or concerns.
